Description

Token Bottom Bracket BB86R386 resolves the issue that riders with BB86 frames face, which is that the frames were made to fit 24 mm cranks, but have cranks with 30 mm axles. Even though there is space for small bearings, Token understands that a single row of balls is insufficient to guarantee endurance, so Token added a second row on either side to assist spread the weight over a larger area.

Token also employs top-notch seals to keep the water out of this bottom bracket so it will continue to function properly even after a rainy day of riding. They take special care to precisely machine the cups so they fit perfectly because the bearings rest directly on the frame. In order to prevent premature wear, the bearings themselves are positioned directly on the crank axle. For lesser resistance, this bottom bracket employs superior bearings that operate incredibly smoothly.
